The journal is later than the art that goes with it, but I'm going to talk about the fan-piece Evangelagann here. I've been contemplating, planning, re-planning, and ultimately improving the idea for a very long time. My first draft of chapter 1 dates back to June 2008, and I think I had the idea even before that.

Needless to say, what I have in my head is pretty awesome.

The general concept is simple: What would the world of Evangelion be like if Kamina from Gurren-Lagann became a mentor-like character to Shinji?

The crossover is less simple. It's complete in that Kamina has a legitimate place in the Evangelion universe and didn't come over from Gurren-Lagann through some ridiculous dimensional rift or anything. Don't expect to see any... or at least not many Gunmen either. Only a few other characters, including Viral, will be making appearances, and most of them will merely be cameos.

Evangelagann: Fanfiction - This will be the most complete version of Evangelagann. It will detail the story of Ikari Shinji from the first time he saw Kamina all the way to the defeat of the 17th Angel and Seele's attempt at instrumentality. Honestly, I have it planned to about half-way, but barely any of the final version is written. However it's about time this changed. I'm going to sit down and start really working on it, and crank out the first chapter even if it kills me. *over-exaggeration*

Evangelagann AMV - Compared to the version I made for my final project in ITT Tech, this will be completely different. It will be far more complete. However I don't want to spoil the story, so I'm trying to fix my models up, and maybe get some more of these detailing the fight scenes as I post the Fanfiction. First up on the slate of course: Unit-01 vs Sachiel.

Other Evangelagann Artworks - I have some ideas for concept art and renditions of scenes I'll be trying to make along the way. Posters, wallpapers, and stand alone character shots among them. My current project: Kamina + His Sweet Car.
